WELCOME TO MAX HARTONG JHS MEMORIAL AWARD FUND

Max Hartong, a 2014 graduate of Jackson High School, tragically passed away in November 2022 from medical complications while competing in the Miami Ironman Triathlon. Max was a dreamer, doer, lover of life and lover of people. He had a deep sense of purpose, a contagious drive for success and was always striving to better himself and help others. Whether captaining his Division I lacrosse team, climbing mountains, attending law school or marrying his high school sweetheart, Max lived life to the fullest. Family and friends created this memorial fund to honor Max's legacy of unwavering passion and a determined spirit by providing yearly scholarships to graduating seniors on the Jackson High School men's lacrosse team. It serves as a beacon of hope that inspires future generations to pursue their dreams both on and off the field.
